Including: Henry Erskine Johnston (1777-1830) autograph letter signed Cork, 11 September 1808, to Richard Jones, asking that Jones entertain some friends in town, and noting, "Should you have any intercourse with the unfortunate Mrs. Johnston, pray do not name my friends or their being in town," with holograph address panel, matted with engraved portrait of Johnston in the character of Hamlet, 1795; Joe Jefferson, signed quotation dated 1875, matted and framed with a portrait of the actor; Frederick Hobson Leslie (1855-1892) signed cabinet card, autograph letter signed, and a playbill from a performance of "Monte Cristo, Jr.", matted and framed together; Eleonora Duse (1858-1924) clipped signature matted and framed with portrait; Adelaide Neilson (1847-1880) signed card matted and framed with large period cabinet card; Lillie Langtry (1853-1929) cut signature matted and framed with a portrait and biography engraved in metal; Harry Lauder (1870-1950) transcriptions of a few of his works and a short signed note in the author's hand, 1916, matted and framed with a period photograph of Lauder with his signature walking stick; John Gielgud (1904-2000),signed photograph; and two other items.
