Black-and-white poster with photomechanical full-length images of Roosevelt and Johnson, with the following Kipling quote, "For there is neither East nor West, Border nor Breed nor Birth, When two strong men stand face to face, Though they come from the ends of the earth."; with union stamps at lower right and left and Moffett copyright between the two figures, cream-colored paper, nicks out of each of the four corners, tacked with splotches of adhesive to board, 24 3/4 x 18 1/2 in.
Roosevelt chose California Governor and fellow Progressive Party member Hiram Johnson to run as Vice President on the Bull Moose ticket in 1912. They lost to Woodrow Wilson's democratic party.
