Two Portrait Miniatures, Reportedly Children of the Clark Family, Nantucket, Massachusetts
Unsigned.
Watercolor on ivory, one child depicted in a white dress with puffy red long sleeves, the other child in a similar dress with puffy blue short sleeves, each 2 x 1 3/4 in., in a gilt mat with oval reserves and molded giltwood frame.
Condition: Discoloration and imperfection to miniature on left, possible retouch or repair to u.c. of miniature on right.
