Grain-painted Pine and Poplar Blanket Chest over Drawers, probably Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, c. 1820, the pine top with molded edge opens above a well with till, above a mid-molding and two side-by-side drawers below joining turned feet, original grained surface in salmon and black, (imperfections),ht. 32 3/4, wd. 48 1/2, dp. 23 3/4 in.

The salmon paint has faded somewhat, primarily on the top and on one side. There is age-typical wear around the edges of the drawers. no evidence of any major touch-up (though there may be some minor touch up to drawer edges, etc.),restoration, or repair.
