Red-painted Blanket Chest over Two Drawers, Connecticut River Valley, c. 1720-40, the molded top above a double arch-molded case of two faux short drawers, one faux long drawer, and two drawers below, with applied molding and tall turned feet, original snipe hinges and brass hardware, old red wash, ht. 43 1/2, wd. 38 3/4, dp. 18 1/2 in.
