Group of Whalebone Tools Housed in a Paint-decorated and Whalebone-inlaid Box, America, 19th century, comprising eleven fids, lg. 5 3/4 to 12 1/2, five clothespins, a jagging wheel, a ruler, a bone-handled knife, and three pulley wheels, the box burgundy-painted with gilt striping and flourishes, the top inlaid with whalebone, including diamonds in the top lettered "P" and "S," box ht. 5 1/2, wd. 12 1/2, dp. 9 in.
