Grain-painted Wooden Works Tall Case Clock, Riley Whiting, Winchester, Connecticut, c. 1830, the cutout crest joining two plinths and finials above a glazed tombstone opening and white-painted wooden dial, on waist with molded door, and base with cutout apron, old painted surface with two contrasting grains, ht. 84 in.

repair and chip to one plinth on the hood, scattered wear and chips to case edges, paint likely original, discoloration to dial, and clockworks not fully together.
