Cable- and Slip-decorated Quart Tankard, England, early 19th century, the cable decoration on a band of ochre slip with alternating bands of light blue, black, and ochre slip, the top with green-glazed reeding, tinned sheet iron lid, ht. 6 1/2 in.

There is a 4 in. and a 3 in. crack in the side that is most visible on the inside of the tankard, there is an impact on the base that has resulted in a small crack but no chip.
