Spear Point Bowie Knife, c. mid-19th century, bone grip with a German silver inlay and guard, ricasso marked "MANSON/SHEFFIELD," the blade marked "AMERICA/THE/LAND OF THE FREE/AND THE/HOME OF THE BRAVE/LIBERTY/INDEPENDENCE" with foliate designs; and a leather scabbard with a German silver throat, blade lg. 7, overall lg. 11 1/2 in.
