U.S. Model 1858 Forage Cap, c. 1861-65, blue broadcloth body, a brass infantry bugle with a brass "K" in the center, and a white 3rd Corps badge with a blue 2nd Corps badge sewn to the white, leather visor and chin strap with general service eagle buttons, brown polished cotton lining (wear) and a brown sweatband.
