Winchester U.S. Model 1917 Bolt-action Rifle with Bayonet, early 20th century, serial number 6508, .30-06 caliber, walnut stock, blued steel fittings, receiver marked "U.S./MODEL OF 1917/WINCHESTER/6508," barrel marked below the front sight with an ordnance bomb and "1-18," and a Remington bayonet and scabbard, barrel lg. 26, overall lg. 46 1/4 in.
