Confederate Naval Cutlass, c. 1861-65, unmarked but attributed to Thomas Griswold, brass hilt with eagles on the pommel, scaled grip without any rivets, finely wrought blade with flaws and uneven median ridge, blade lg. 21, overall lg. 26 1/4 in.
