Group of Civil War Items Owned by William F. Clarke, Company A, 1st Connecticut Volunteer Cavalry, c. 1861-65, a Model 1860 Light Cavalry saber and scabbard, brass-tacked box, CDV of Clarke in uniform, a Moore .32 caliber engraved revolver, pocket mirror, kersey-covered bull's-eye canteen and strap, hoof-cleaning knife, Colt Model 1849 pocket revolver serial number 150150, a pair of hand-knit stockings, a pipe, snuff box, and other personal items.
All have some wear from use but in overall good condition. Moore revolver cylinder turns when cocked, Colt 1849 functions properly and is all matching including the wedge.
