U.S. Model 1842 Percussion Musket, c. 1852, .70 bore, walnut stock with a light cartouche on the left side, steel fittings, lock marked "HARPERS/FERRY/1852" on the tail, breech marked "V/P" over an eagle, barrel lg. 42, overall lg. 58 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks, steel parts are gray/plum with some scattered pits on the breech, and the lock functions properly.
