U.S. Model 1841 Percussion Rifle, c. 1851, .54 caliber, walnut stock with two light cartouche marks on the left side, brass fittings, lock marked "E. WHITNEY/US" in front of the cock, dated "1851" on the tail, breech marked "P," barrel lg. 33, overall lg. 49 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks, barrel retains some brown, there is a spare nipple inside the patchbox, a little bit of pitting on the nipple cone, the lock functions properly, and the bore is good and sharp with some light scattered pitting.
