Cased Allen & Wheelock Pepperbox Pistol and Accessories, c. 1850s, .34 caliber, serial number 143, walnut grips, frame simply engraved with foliate designs, a fluted four-shot barrel marked "ALLEN & WHEELOCK" and "PATENTED 1845," with a velvet-lined case, eagle flask, ball mold, and ramrod/cleaning rod.

Gun retains most of the original blue on the triggerguard, about 45% on the frame, and some remaining on the barrel in the flutes, and the gun functions properly.
