U.S. Model 1812 Springfield Type I Flintlock Musket, c. 1814, .69 bore, walnut stock marked on the base of the left side of the butt "COMP/H/96," steel fittings, marked on the lock "US/SPRINGFIELD" with an eagle, marked on the tail of the lock "1814," breech marked "P/V" and "US," barrel lg. 44 1/2, overall lg. 60 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks and is in very good condition, steel fittings are a plum/brown color, the lock functions but doesn't catch on full cock, missing the sling swivels, in overall very good condition.
