U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol, c. 1842, .54 caliber, walnut stock with two crisp cartouche marks on the left side, steel fittings, marked on the lock "U.S./R. JOHNSON/MIDDN CONN/1842," marked on the breech "US./EB/P," barrel lg. 8 1/2 in.

Stock has a few very light dings and nicks but in excellent condition, the lock retains some of its original color case hardened finish and the hammer/frizzen spring retains its original blue finish, the other fittings are bright and in excellent condition.
