Description:

U.S. Model 1833 Dragoon Saber, c. 1837, brass hilt with "WS" on the quillon, wire-wrapped leather grip, blade marked on the ricasso "N P Ames/Cutler/Springfield/1837," with "United States" engraved on the blade with foliate designs, and a steel scabbard, blade lg. 34 1/4, overall lg. 39 5/8 in.

Hilt is in very good condition with some light pits and spotting on the blade.
