Maple Bannister-back Armchair, probably Massachusetts, c. 1730-50, the shaped crest above split-balusters and a shaped shoe joining vase- and ring-turned stiles, with downward-sloping arms, mushroom handholds, rush seat, and sausage-turned double front stretchers, refinished, (restoration),ht. 47 1/2, seat ht. 15 3/4 in.
