Red-stained Poplar Daughters of Rebekah Pedestal, America, late 19th century, the rectangular top with molded overhang and base, the sides with recessed panels with applied bead molding, the front and back lettered in gilt "PAUL CASTER/D OF R/No. 348." and "INSTITUTED/March 20th/1896," the sides with gilt chain links, a pair of turned carrying handles extend from the two sides, on casters, ht. 31 1/2, wd. 23 1/2, dp. 17 3/4 in.
Provenance: Collected from an Odd Fellows lodge in Iowa.
