Pair of Painted Panels: Opulent Fruit Still Life on a Pedestal with Drapery and Classical Ruins and Elaborate Floral Still Life with Trailing Garlands and a Red Parrot
Unsigned, numbered "1156" and "4241," respectively, on gummed labels on the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 71 3/8 x 25 in. (181.5 x 63.5 cm),in gilded arched frames.
Condition: Both lined, with craquelure, scattered retouch, varnish inconsistencies, surface grime; Fruit with canvas deformation; Urn with patch reinforcement to reverse at c.l. edge, probable overcleaning resulting in some loss of detail.

Frame dimensions are 78 3/4 x 28 3/8 inches (200.0 x 72.0 cm). Stretchers also have arched tops. Urn panel inscribed "Panel 1" in pencil on the stretcher.
