Edmund Draper Surveyor's Transit, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19th century, 10 1/2-in. scope with fine focusing, "A"-frame supports, 5-in. dia. silvered dial engraved "Edmund Draper/Philadelphia," with fleur-de-lis representing north, dual spirit levels, and silvered vernier scale, mounted to a four-screw adjustable base, and housed in its original wooden case, ht. 11 in.
