Young & Sons Surveyor's Transit, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1905, 8-in. scope wit level below, "A"-frame supports with silvered vertical arch divided 0-60 and vernier arm, 3 3/4-in. gray compass dial marked as above with fleur-de-lis representing north, opposing vernier apertures, and single spirit level, four-screw adjustable base, all housed in its original mahogany case, ht. 9 3/4 in.
