W.J. Young Railroad Goniometer, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, two independently rotating 9-in. scopes (lacking lenses) 7-in. dia. engraved horizontal plate reading "Wm .J. Young/Maker/Philadelphia.," with opposing spirit levels and verniers to one minute of arc, mounted to a four-screw adjustable leveling base, ht. 12 in.
Note: Few of these instruments are known; the model is listed in the 1911 Young & Sons catalog.
