Japanese Weight-driven Shaku Dokei or Pillar Clock with Original Shipping Box, case with removable glazed hood over the pierced and engraved movement with verge escapement and regulated by a balance wheel, time scale on paper and under glass shows time as indicated by pointer attached to falling lead weight which powers the clock, all in original cedar shipping box, ht. 17 1/2 in.

weight needs to be re-strung, draw back needs to be reglued, front case panel is separating and needs to be reglued, some case molding off but present. Indicating pointer off but with the clock.
