Vacheron & Constantin 18kt Gold Manual-wind Wristwatch, c. 1937, undisturbed matte black dial with applied gilt arabic numerals, and constant seconds at 6, signed crown, and reeded round lugs, movement marked "Vacheron & Constantin/Geneve/419819," case back no. 261880, with original case reading on interior "21 Jewels Spritzer & Fuhrmann Jewelers," dia. 25.5 mm.
Provenance: Has been in the same New England family since 1937.
Note: According to a Vacheron Constantin North America e-mail, watches prior to 1938 did not have model/reference numbers and dates this watch to 1937 by case/serial number.
