Condition: Minor surface grime.
N.B. A native of Georgia, Bo Bartlett began spending summers on remote Matinicus Island, off the coast of Maine, in 1995. In 1999, he purchased tiny Wheaton Island, just next to Matinicus. Most known for his large-scale, light-filled narrative paintings, Bartlett also paints intimate renderings of family and friends, and self-portraits such as this example.
