Watercolor on Arches watermarked paper, 39 3/4 x 60 in. (101.0 x 152.3 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Gentle rippling, scattered areas of fine craquelure, tack holes near corners, small tear to upper edge, deckled edges (inherent to paper).
N.B. Forrester painted her lush and intricate watercolor landscapes almost exclusively en plein air, and with little or no preparatory drawing. A resident of Washington, DC, she brought large sheets of watercolor paper, sometimes reaching six feet in size, to city parks and gardens, and with her on her frequent travels to Costa Rica, Vietnam, and Singapore. Mountain Farm displays her skill of capturing the brilliant colors and bright light of tropical landscapes.

There are small tears to the edges at lower left (measuring approximately 1/4 inch),lower center (measuring approximately 5/8 inch),lower right (measuring approximately 3/8 inch),and upper left (measuring approximately 1/8 inch). There are scattered breaks to the deckles. In addition to the tack hohles near the corners, there are three tack holes at upper center.
