Condition: Toned, creasing to l.l. corner, small tear to u.r. corner, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: From the artist's estate to Hirschl & Adler Gallery, New York, through to the current owner.

The sheet is hinged to the backing at three places near the upper edge on the reverse. There is mat burn and very pale foxing. There is a small loss to the lower right corner, a nick in the upper portion of the right edge, and scattered tears to the edges. Vertical tears near the center and right hinges measure approximately 1/2 inch each (the tear near the right hinge is partially repaired with a transparent adhesive patch to the reverse). A horizontal tear at the center of the left edge is repaired with a transparent adhesive patch to the reverse. There are scattered handling creases and creases near the lower left corner and along the upper portion of the left edge, and a dog-ear crease to the upper left corner.
Framed dimensions: 25 1/4 x 17 1/4 in.
