Condition: Craquelure, minor surface grime.

Stable craquelure and drying cracks around the head of the figures and the hands of the figure on the left. A line of craquelure in the skirt of figure on the right. Under UV one can detect areas of uneven varnish which are inconsequential.
There is a pencil inscription on the stretcher which includes a number and, possibly, the suggestion of a title or place, "2,726 Le Mende."
Framed dimensions are 28 x 24 3/8 x 1 3/4 inches.
