Condition: Surface grime, accretions/markings to sky.

Provenance: The estate of Justin L. Cobb III, Massachusetts.

N.B. An inscription by the artist on the reverse indicates that a watercolor of similar subject was exhibited by him in the American Watercolor Society show in New York, March 1968.

The artist used the handle end of the brush to work some areas of the paint. The work will improve with a cleaning.
