Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, fine craquelure, staining to the reverse.
Provenance: Dealer, France; Private Collection, United States; Private Collection, South Dakota (acquired in 2003); acquired from the above by the present owner in 2009.

A condition report accompanies the lot. The work was glue lined about 75 years ago to restore a puncture to the l.r. corner. Retouch to upper left quadrant. Scattere minor inpainting. Stretcher is original. Frame is period (restored),but not original to the work.
