L2908 - Lugt said this mark, when he had encountered it, was frequently found on Italian drawings. In the 1956 edition, Lugt suggested it might the mark of Nicholas Lanier (1588-1666). However, in 2010 Jeremy Wood suggested other possible collectors for this mark, including Peter Lely (1618-1680),Prosper Lankrink (1628-1692),and Prosper Lankrink (1628-1692),among others.
