The tear/loss corresponds to an abrasion received on the reverse. Craquelure overall seems stable, but there is some minor tenting to the l.r. quadrant. Evidence of old retouch which does not fluoresce in the u.r. corner between the palm tree and roof, and also behind and to the right of Mary's head. Varnish inconsistencies. Surface grime overall.
