White-glazed Vase, Korea, late 19th/early 20th century, maebyeong-form with short neck, resting on a raised foot ring, decorated with a landscape with a tiger and a pine tree in underglaze blue and iron brown, ht. 11 3/8 in.
Provenance: Acquired in Korea by a U.S. government agent, who worked mostly in Busan area in 1950-51; inherited by the present owner.
