Red-painted Blanket Chest over Two Drawers, late 18th/early 19th century, the top with applied undermolding, above a well and two thumb-molded drawers, the sides with cutout brackets, overall vibrant red paint, (imperfections),ht. 41 1/2, top wd. 37 1/2, top dp. 18 1/4 in.

top darkened with age and accumulated dust, some staining to top. very minor paint wear, old brasses are replacements, some minor accidental pencil markings on top drawerfront- not very obtrusive, very minor thumbmolding losses.
