Two English Needlework Samplers, 18th and 19th century, one stitched with two lines of alphabet and numbers over three lines of verse and signed in needlework "Mary Furset/Her Sampler Wrought In The II/Year Of Her Age 1733" above a brick building flanked by flowers and birds, with "GR" and three crowns; the other sampler stitched in silk on a yellow silk background with potted flowers above four lines of verse and signed in needlework "Susanna/Warren/Born Oct 22/1845," both framed, ht. to 9 1/4 in.
