Painted and Embroidered Silk Mourning Picture, reportedly Maine, c. 1830, worked in several needlepoint techniques and in watercolor on a white silk ground, depicting a large architectural mass in the background, and three-masted vessel flying an American flag, 24 1/2 x 25 1/2 in., in a molded walnut and parcel-gilt frame.
