Early Dark Blue-painted Chest over Drawer, Connecticut, early 18th century, the hinged lid opens above a well and arch-molded case of three faux and one working drawer, with heavy base molding and four turned feet, later paint, (imperfections, restoration to base),ht. 25 3/4, wd. 25 1/2, dp. 16 in.

Note: A later inscription in red paint on the bottom reads "C.I./Guilford."
