Paint-decorated Pine Fireboard, attributed to Rufus Porter (1792-1884),c. 1825, with breadboard ends, painted with a sunset river landscape with a three-masted vessel, 35 x 46 in.

Note: This fireboard bears a strong resemblance to a fireboard known to have been removed from the James T. Garvin House, Greenfield, New Hampshire, and also attributed to Porter.
