Early Oak Pewter Dresser, England, c. 1720-40, the upper section with cornice above three open shelves sits on the projecting lower section of three short drawers and two tombstone-paneled doors centering a similar panel, and paneled sides, all on cutout base, ht. 78 3/4, wd. 59, dp. 21 in.

two front feet with pieced ends - 1 1/2 inches each. right rear leg pieced 4-5 inches, left rear leg with partial patch extending 17 inches up from floor. There is evidence of old insect damage at lower parts of lower case back, cracks in the (vertical) upper section backboards. the bottom boards of the lower cupboard sections appear partially replaced.
