Carved Mahogany Worktable, probably Salem, Massachusetts, c. 1820, cockbeaded case and drawers flanked by floral-carved corner posts continuing to ring-turned reeded legs, (lacks bag drawer), ht. 28, wd. 21, dp. 18 in.
table has been refinished, with splits to two turrets, shrinkage cracks to the veneered top and sides, and a bit of bleaching to the back.
