Quarto, printed in two sections, in Latin and German, each with its own title page, large woodcut device on both, illustrated with two folding woodcut plates, thirty-three large woodcut illustrations, twenty small woodcuts, and numerous historiated woodcut initials, incomplete, lacking the last two signatures (fourteen pages) in the German section: the last four chapters and twenty woodcuts; first title trimmed away at top and bottom, marginal water staining, later half vellum binding with stiff boards covered in paste paper, 9 x 6 3/4 in.
