Description:
Red-washed Country Pine Cupboard, early 19th century, molded cornice on a case of two cupboard doors above a larger single cupboard drawer, all opening to shelves, ht. 67 1/2, case wd. 47 1/2, case dp. 17 3/4 in.
Estimate $800-1,200
The hinges appear to be original. You can see that the interior of some of the doors have been painted white. There is evidence that the whole cupboard may have been painted white (or another light color) long ago, and now has a mellow natural surface. There is some renailing to the cornice.
