Captain Benjamin Hamilton (British, 19th Century)
Seven British Landscapes:Buckmore Field, Kensworth (1860); Haugen Hill Park (1864); Haugen Vale; Pap of Lambern's N.W. (1843); Ludlow Castle (1857); Diddlebury Elm (1857); and White Hall near Shrewsbury (1857). Most monogrammed with overlapping "BH" and dated and inscribed within the composition, all identified on the secondary paper supports, artist identified on accompanying paper labels. Watercolors on paper, 7 x 9 1/2 in., affixed to secondary paper supports at the corners of the reverse, unframed. Condition: Some with minor foxing, Pap with crease to l.l. quadrant, minor toning and soiling.
