Allan Capron Houser (American, 1914-1994)

Lead Singer
Signed and numbered "Allan Houser 13/20" and marked "SF" in the bronze l.c. near the figure's cuff, titled on a label affixed to the plinth.
Bronze with dark brown patina, height 24 in. (60.6 cm), on a wood plinth.
Condition: Minor dust and dirt.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the Clark Art Institute, Williamstown, Massachusetts.

The mark "SF" consists of a larger S with the F fitted within the lower curve of the S.
