Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, craquelure, surface imperfections, surface grime.
Estimate $600-800
Framed dimensions are 20 1/2 x 24 1/4 in. Handwritten index card with information on Norwegian-American artist "A.B. Engrstom" affixed to the frame backing board. Wax lined onto solid support. Blistering with scattered areas of gentle skinning. Craqueleur is visible but stable. Broad glazes of retouch near lower edge, plus additional areas of retouch above crayfish and quarter sized area to background. Dashes and strokes of retouch to areas of craqueleur.
