Double-folio format hand-colored copper-plate engraving on laid paper, text in Latin on the verso, with nine detailed images across the top focusing on the cities of Europe, including views of Amsterdam, Prague, Toledo, and Lisbon, and bird's eye views of Constantinople, Venice, Rome, Paris, and London; the map sides flanked by ten images of couples in regional dress, illustrating the English, French, Belgians, Castilians, Venetians, Germans, Hungarians, Bohemians, Poles, and Greeks, dusty, fore-margins extended, a bit of edge-darkening and marginal water stains across the bottom, old color, 23 3/4 x 20 1/8 in.
