Audubon, John James (1785-1851) Golden-eye Duck, Plate CCCCIII. [from] The Birds of America; from Original Drawings, London: by the Author, 1827-1838. Hand-colored engraving with aquatint and etching, showing an alert duck at sea, the head of the duck purple, the legs a vivid orange, matted and framed, spot below plate mark, 38 x 27 in. overall, not examined out of frame.
